Long Beach Coast Inaugural Season Community Poster Design Contest
1. Overview
The Inaugural Season Poster Design Contest invites artists to submit original artwork for a chance to be selected as the official Inaugural Season Community Poster for the Long Beach Coast.
The winning design will be distributed to fans during Opening Week on June 4, featured in-stadium, displayed at Long Beach Airport, and recognized during a live, on-field ceremony.
2. Contest Timeline
Launch Date: April 17, 2026
Submission Deadline: May 17, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT
Finalists Announced: On or around May 22, 2026
Winner Announced: June 4, 2026
3. Eligibility
Open to individuals connected to Long Beach, California.
Two divisions:
- Open Division (18+)
- Youth Division (17 & under)
Youth participants require parent/guardian consent.
4. How to Enter
Complete the entry form, upload artwork, and agree to rules.
Limit one entry per participant.
5. Artwork Requirements
Must reflect baseball, community, and Long Beach identity.
Include team logo, 'Inaugural Season', and Opening Week reference.
18x24 inches, 300 DPI, JPG/PNG/PDF.
6. Judging & Selection
Top 10 finalists selected, then judged by panel.
Criteria: creativity, alignment, visual impact, print suitability.
7. Prizes
Open Winner: Poster distribution, first pitch, airport display, VIP experience.
Youth Winner: Recognition, tickets, gallery feature.
Finalists: Tickets, gallery, recognition.
8. Artist Rights
Artists retain ownership.
Entrants grant promotional use rights.
Winner grants reproduction rights.
9. Publicity
Participants agree to promotional use of name and artwork.
10. Youth Participation
Requires parent/guardian consent.
11. Disqualification
Entries may be disqualified for rule violations.
12. Liability
Sponsor not responsible for damages related to participation.
13. General Conditions
Sponsor may modify or cancel contest.
